Overview

Fourstones, Warden Hill and River Tyne. We set out from Fourstones and walk up Warden Hill, but not right to the top, - this is the only energetic bit on this walk - and then down to the Boathouse Inn. There is then some road walking followed by a lovely riverside section. This takes us past Fourstones with us looping back on a final road section to the start point.

Open fields, woodland trails, road walking (mainly quiet roads) and riverside paths. On pre walk the conditions were good and generally dry.

There will be a refreshment stop en-route.

Proceed to Fourstones and when you see the Green Church on the right turn left down the hill.
