We are the Arun-Adur Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walk from the old Fox Pub to Findon Church through the woodland. We will go via Selden Lane, and take the chalk descent which may be slippy, kick up the leaves and then along the Monarch's Way towards Michelgrove and Myrtle Gove (muddy). At Tolmare farm, we cross the road and head towards Findon church where we will have lunch.
We return up the steep chalk hill and return back to Clapham and Patcham.
There will be a short cut just under 4 miles from the start, (map supplied but not led) This was sucessfully used on Boxing day.
There are stiles, mud, undulating terrain and one very steep ascent and descent. I would recommend poles if you have them.
