We are the Gloucestershire Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting and finishing close to the River Severn, about a quarter of this walk is along The Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, and it also includes beautiful open countryside.
We will meet outside the Three Horseshoes pub, close to where “The Street” (road name) meets Water Lane. Nearby roadside parking is available.
Meeting place: Three Horseshoes pub, The Green, Frampton on Severn, Stroud.
This is one of the leader's favourite routes with beautiful countryside and water features other than the canal that we walk alongside. The walk is relatively flat.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy walking boots are highly recommended for your comfort and safety.

Occasionally group photos may be taken during walks. The photographer will always tell you where this will be shared, but this could include meetup, the 20s and 30s members’ WhatsApp group, or for promotional purposes - the Gloucestershire Walking Group website.
