The walk begins from the car parking area on Stonebridge Lane in Fulbourn. We will walk through Fulbourn Fen, past Fleam Dyke into Great Wilbraham. Then via Wilbraham Common, we head towards the converted sail-less windmill and return to Fulbourn via a farm track and a factory. Most of the walk is via grassy or gravel paths and there are sections along a tarmac road.
There is are a couple of pubs and village shops along the way.
The starting point is towards the end of Stonebridge Lane in Fulbourn, just past the public footpath sign on the left and near the Nature Reserve. The Number 1 bus from the centre of Cambridge at 9.00 arrives in Fulbourn at 9.54.
