We are the Windsor & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A coastal walk full of open space and up and downs. Starting at Birling Gap (toilet facilities are available) we follow the South Downs Way passing Belle Tout and then a steep climb to the famous chalk cliffs at Beachy Head. We then follow the grassy path over rolling hills overlooking the cliffs to the edge of Eastbourne. Our final 1.5 miles is along the lower promenade heading towards the famous Eastbourne Pier. Bring a picnic lunch and drink.
This is a joint walk with Slough U3A and will take 2.5 hours from Birling Gap to Eastbourne Pier.

THE COACH IS FULLY BOOKED
THE RETURN JOURNEY WILL LEAVE EASTBOURNE PIER AT 5PM AND WILL GET BACK TO UPTON COURT PARK IN SLOUGH AT APPROX 8PM (depends on the traffic)
Meet the coach in Upton Court Park, Upton Court Road Slough SL3 7LU at 08.30 am for 8.45am departure. Free parking in Upton Court Park car park.
