Overview

This walk follows part of the original "Wycombe Railway" closed between Bourne End and High Wycombe in 1970. We will review the Brunel goods shed, part of the original Wycombe station. Starting at the original running in board at Wycombe station, our walk route includes street walking and several stretches of delightful woodland track bed. Walking boots are recommended. Bring a packed lunch and drink to eat near the former Loudwater Green station. After lunch we will continue to the site of Wooburn Green station before arriving at Bourne End station around 4pm. The walk is fairly easy, but includes several banks/steps to climb. To book a place on this walk please contact David at windsoranddistrictramblers@gmail.com
