Overview

‼️PLEASE NOTE REVISED ROUTE & LUNCH VENUE

Due to flooding encountered on the recce:

  • while the walk still starts at Galleywood Common, it won't be possible to reach the Viper for lunch
  • instead, the lunch break will be at Stock
  • length reduced to 9.5 miles
  • option to just walk in the morning (~5 miles) & get the bus back (from Stock to the car park)
  • muddy but passable - 🥾🥾boots strongly advised; poles and gaiters also helpful
  • more rain on the way - hopefully only light showers on Wednesday, but with sunny intervals🤞
