Walk details
We head out from the station on the Fox Way towards Shackleford, after which we will stop for lunch at Mitchen Hall Plantation. After lunch, we will head to Puttenham for a pub stop before heading on to Puttenham Heath and Compton Common. Just after Compton Common is The Grange, a charming National Trust Arts and Crafts centre where we will make a stop to browse and catch our breath (and maybe even a cup of coffee!). We will then continue the last mile back into Godalming, passing Charterhouse, a famous boarding school where the rock band Genesis were born.
