Overview

Walking south from Kemsing across open fields to Heaverham, across the M26 and the train track, arriving at Oldbury Hill for quick refreshment break. Walking across the A25 into Fish Ponds Wood and up onto the ridge, where we'll descend down to Ightham Mote for lunch. After lunch we walk towards Stone Street and then towards the village of Seal. We will be walking on the wide width pathment on the A25 for 15 minutes, down hill to Seal and pick up the footpath again at rear of Seal Church to Kemsing. 

The pace will be medium/fast, to return before dark

Meet at Kemsing Village Car Park, public toilets available, (car park opposite The Bell pub). 

Approx 13 miles, assemble at 09:20 to leave prompt at 09:30am as need to return before it gets dark

Pack lunch or use Ightham Mote NT cafe, 30-40 minute break, toilets available. 

Walking boots/shoes required, likely to be muddy in places

Optional drinks at the end of walk in The Bell pub.
