Back in the long hot summer, due to the temperature, only a handful of walkers braved the conditions. Hence the walk is being revisited using a different route. Starting in the village of Sapperton the paths take us through woods and fields, past the 17th Century Waterlane House and onto the Giant's Stone Burial Chamber. We then head east and south to join the Macmillan Way back to Sapperton.
Neolithic burial chamber, valleys, hills, views and peaceful hamlets. Circular walk. 3 stops.
The Group encourages car sharing from the Meeting Point. If you wish to go to the start point instead of joining the walk at the Meeting Point, please contact the Walk Leader who will tell you the Start Point and Time. Travel donation £2.
