Overview

From the car park at Gilwern we pick up the canal, leaving at the impressive Llanwenarth House before heading westward to the old Gilwern Station and proceeding along the course of the old tramway to the old Lime Works, Clydach and the old Ironworks. Crossing a footbridge over the A465 we journey back through fields and return alongside the canal to Gilwern.
