Signed Ullswater Way along lakeside path, some road walking, some low fell walking all on good paths and tracks, some muddy fields towards Pooley Bridge.

Muddy in places.  We climb up to Aira Force and cross the slopes of Gowbarrow Fell which could be slippery in winter conditions.

Strenuous with one sustained climb on a good path after Aira Force up to the memorial seat on Gowbarrow Fell.  Rocky in places by lakeshore.  Muddy fields towards Pooley Bridge.
