Overview

This is a moderate walk with a number of stiles, uneven ground which could be slippy, long muddy stretches and several quite long inclines. There is one tricky stream crossing. The walk includes scenic Gorpley Clough with several waterfalls and there are pleasant paths through fields in the second part. There are some lovely views and a short canal walk at the start. It's a very varied and rewarding walk.
