This is a lovely walk with some great views, we will walk across fields, through woods and down some quiet tracks and roads and through a couple of farm yards. There are some uphill sections but nothing too strenuous. We pass through or at the edge of a few pretty villages including Teddington and Oxenton.
There are more than 10 stiles on this walk and 3 footbridges, all pretty sturdy though. Paths are generally good only one short tricky part through the woods. One fallen tree to duck under before the kissing gate. On the recce we passed through 3 fields of cows but they kept their distance. This walk is not suitable for dogs given the number of cows. Bring some cash if you want to purchase some lovely fresh eggs.
We will meet at The Shutters Inn, Shutters Lane, Gotherington. Please park considerately along Shutters Lane, parking is limited so car sharing advised. Please note you can't park at the village hall, Lawrence Meadow and Ashmead Drive further along are options for parking too.
