A linear walk along the towpath. Easy paths along the canal with plenty of interest. Just off the canal in Southall we visit a beautiful Sikh Gurdwara for lunch. Please bring a headscarf if you’d like to enter the temple and remove your shoes when entering the inner sanctum. You might like to donate some shop-bought food or money. Alternatively picnic at the side of the canal. Toilets are available at the Gurdwara and at The Old Crown pub at the end of the walk. Food and drinks can also be bought in Southall. The walk ends at Hayes and Harlington Station: trains to Ealing and Paddington; buses: H98, 90, 195.

Brent Lea bus stop, north side of London Road/High Street Brentford: buses: 235 237, 267 and E8. Alternatively train to Brentford, and walk south for 500 yards to Brentford High Street and then turn right and walk 500 yards to Brent Lea bus stop.
