We head west out of Chesham, quickly into open country, and we then walk along the floor of a dry valley. It is then a short climb out of the valley. We then have a little road walking (a quiet road) required by path diversions consequent upon the construction site works for HS2, and we descend to Great Missenden. If you wish bring a small snack. We will call in for a drink and, if you wish, a meal at a pub in Great Missenden at the end of the walk. Book a place on the walk, and if desired a pub meal (text only) by 18:00 hrs on 10 June. Please say if you plan to join the group other than at Marylebone station. Freedom Pass holders need only buy a single rail ticket from Great Missenden to Amersham.
