This is a circular walk starting and finishing in the village of Coxwold. The walk starts from the village hall, toilets and parking available (honesty box £3). We will head south east out of the village along the path next to the main road before crossing onto a small track (Colley Broach road). After following the track we will then head over a footbridge following the path up the bank towards Ampleforth then turning to skirt the edge of the woodland heading towards Wass. Just before Wass we pick up the main road heading to Byland Abbey (free entry) where we will stop to explore the ruins before making our way back through the fields to Coxwold.
