A cracker of a walk to squeeze in before the clocks change!
A lovely strenuous walk that is half of the classic LLanbedr Horseshoe.
Starting from the church in the village of LLanbedr, we will gradually ascend Crug Mawr and then continue along the ridge taking in Pen Twyn Mawr, Pen y Gadair Fawr and Waun Fach before descending Pen Trumau and turning down MacNamarra's Road back to Llanbedr.
The first hour and a half is uphill but after that it is mostly ridge and gentle inclines, followed by an easy descent. Fabulous views all day. There are a few stiles at the start that are not particularly dog friendly but after that it is stile free.
