We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Leaving the carpark, we follow paths, tracks and lanes to the East and South of Hampstead Norreys. We start by heading East, towards Ashampstead, where we turn South making for Burnt Hill. Here, we continue in the same direction, passing under the M4, before turning West to skirt Frilsham. On joining Burnt Bush Lane, we turn North towards Eling, crossing the M4 again before returning to the carpark. Unless there is significant rain before the walk, the going is likely to be good to firm. Vegetation is already encroaching over some of the paths, and we are likely to encounter livestock. There are 2 stiles in good condition.
Please bring sufficient food and water for the day.

Please park at the Hampstead Norreys village hall carpark. Please car share as much as possible to limit our impact on the carpark.
