What better way to start the New Year than a 10 mile brisk walk with fellow Ramblers? Answer - given the weather forecast - stay at home! But if you do choose to come, be prepared to get wet.
Much of this walk will use familiar sections of the Hillingdon and Colne Valley Trails to reach the aquadrome in Rickmansworth for a picnic lunch. Less familiar will be the Old Park Wood nature reserve on the edge of Harefield. Kindly note that the paths in the nature reserve will be slippery so good footwear is essential and walking poles advisable. If in doubt, please contact the leader.
