Overview

This is a combination of two of the Colne Valley Park circular walks nos. 11 & 10. We set off from St Mary’s Church and the Anzac War Graves towards the London Loop and along the Grand Union Canal walk. Criss-crossing the River Colne, with the Troy Arm of the canal on our left and Troy Lake on our right we head towards Jack’s Lane by the Coy Carp. After Black Jack’s Lock we have a steepish climb (with stiles) up the Hillingdon Trail to Harefield high street, then it's all downhill past the Countess of Derby’s Almshouses and back to St Mary’s Church.
