Overview

A scenic walk up the North Downs crossing the historic Pilgrims Way and Augustine Camino.  There are steep sections and most likely some mud but not necessarily at the same time.

Bring your packed lunch as there will be no shops en route but a refreshment stop is planned after mile 8 at the Hook and Hatchet pub near Hucking.  

Well behaved dogs are welcome.  We cross some fields with livestock so dogs must be on leads at these times.

We meet at the rec. opposite St. John's church, leaving promptly at 10:00.  Harrietsham rail station is on the main line from London Victoria and is less than a mile away from the start.
