Overview

Our first walk will be 1.5 mile and start at the entrance to Haslam Park. Following the paths around the park this amble should take around an hour. No styles, good paths, suitable for mobility scooters or wheelchairs. Dogs welcome but they should be well behaved.
The nearest bus stop, if coming from Preston is close to Newton Road. Cross at the crossing close by to the bus stop. If coming from Lea/Larches area, the stop is outside the Brierwood surgery. If driving, you need to be coming from the Lea side as the carpark is from the dual carriageway. After the walk, we can call into the cafe for a quick drink.
