We are the Ponteland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A LINEAR walk from Hebburn Metro Station (YELLOW LINE) to Monument Metro Station.
We start on Heading North West, we walk to King George’s Field where we join the River Tyne Trail all the way to Baltic Arts Centre. We cross the Millennium bridge then turn left along the quayside to the Tyne Bridge where we head up Dean Street then Grey Street to the Monument Metro Station.
There will be a coffee stop en route. The Christmas Market is on around Grey’s Monument and I hope that you’ll join me at the end of the walk for a celebratory Christmas drink.
