This stunning walk along Hen Cloud and The Roaches has magnificent views but also a couple of steep hills.
The group does not stop at cafes or pubs for lunch, and you should bring enough food and drinks with you to last the whole walk. We usually stop for a coffee break an hour or so into the walk, and stop for packed lunch around 1230-1300 although weather and a suitable location will affect both timings.
The walk leader has assessed this walk for the following risks, but during the walk others may become evident. You will come across, stiles, gates and other path furniture, hedges etc. You may come across road crossings, fields with crops, muddy/slippery sections, farm livestock & warning signs. You should remain stay alert and take individual responsibility
Start at the Roaches Tea Room, 500 meters North West of Upper Hulme on Roach Road. The Tea Room has a Car Park with honesty box £5 or park on Road if spaces available Please note the post code is ST13 8TY.
