Overview

A fascinating guided walk of around four miles through the limestone woods and fields, south of the A541 at Hendre. This is an area rich in history with lead and calcite mining, quarrying and farming, linked by a network of bridleways and woodland paths. Woodland paths can be rough and muddy underfoot. This walk includes climbs, steps and stiles.
