The walk starts with a pleasant stroll along the Thames Path with views of the country house at Fawley Court and Temple Island before reaching the quaint village of Remenham, where we may pause for a while at the church. We then have a short ascent on a quiet lane to enjoy wide views across the Thames Valley, including the Italian-style mansion at Greenlands, home of a certain well-known high street stationer. We then follow the Chiltern Way and descend through the woods back to Henley in time for lunch.
