Overview

Why the picture of a car?  We are walking to Buckland where once the AC Buckland car was produced.

The Buckland Body Works completed about 80 cars between 1948 and 1952.  The engine and chassis of the car came from AC (AC later becoming famous for the AC Cobra). The car bodies were built at Five House Farm, and the cars were then moved to Buckland for spraying and to have the interiors completed.

We will walk to Buckland via Notley Green and Chapel Green. Our return being via Five House Farm and Green End. Initially the we walk along hedge lined paths, but after Chapel Green the paths become more open and there are fine views down the Rib valley.
