Overview

This is a A Heritage open days walk in conjunction with the Rame Conservation Trust and Pigshill & Clarrick Woods CIC.

Start at 10:30am, meet at Maker Church car park SX 447 519 (post code PL10 1JB, near Mount  Edgcumbe).

Paths with a short length on a lane. Through the Pigs Hill and Clarrick woods, and visiting the fortifications of Maker Heights. Includes an opportunity to visit the inside of two of the normally locked Maker redoubts. Lunch at Maker Heights Canteen area (toilet facilities available).   Approximately 6 miles, 4 - 4.5 hours approx. (allowing for time in Redoubts).   Bring packed lunch, walking boots etc.
