From Hardys Monument, we’ll descend through the woods, following the Jubilee Trail and make our way to the Bridehead estate (where part of Broadchurch was filmed). After climbing from the valley, we’ll be rewarded with far-reaching views of West Dorset, then a brief snack stop followed by a visit to the Kingston Russell stone circle. Lunch will be at a derelict but peaceful chapel in the woods. From here, we head onto the South Dorset Ridgeway with stunning views in all directions and follow it back to our end point. This is west Dorset so expect some hills. They are mainly good walking paths but there is a section which is quite overgrown (mainly long grass) so care is needed.
