Overview

Join the Leader for this mid-range Hard around familiar territory. Leaving Nelson Pit CP(P&D), we go through Lyme Park to the West Gate and over Sponds Hill. Dropping down to Cornfield Farm, we climb to Black Hill Ridge for lunch and views. Our return is via the Cage and Macc Canal. Some rough ground underfoot, although mostly tracks and field footpaths. The climbs are generally steady though much steeper to gain the top of Black Hill. Please book for this walk via the NMC Walks Programme. Registered Assistance Dogs only. . 1970 ft asc.
