We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the Severn Valley Country Park car park (SVCP) at Highley we cross pastures and use tracks for an 8.5 mile walk - lovely open views and the whistle of trains can be heard in the distance.
Waters of Chelmarsh Reservoir come into view on our way to Hampton Loade Station on the Severn Valley Railway, once there we will catch the 14.55 train to Highley, a journey of 3 miles and then return to the cars.
Train fare £5.50.
If you would like to join this walk, please book a place with the leader, if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so someone else can take your place. If you turn up without booking we may have to turn you away.
Bring a packed lunch.
Car sharing is encouraged to minimise car parking, fuel costs and carbon footprint.
