Overview

Here is an outstanding walk over the summits of Moel Faban, Llefn, Gyrn and Moel Wnion. These are the hills closest to the coast. This walk offers an opportunity to test yourself on some of the foothills of the Carneddau range without committing to the high summits. It also provides glorious views of both the high mountains and the Menai Strait.

Come along enjoy fabulous scenery whilst testing your fitness!

Booking is requested. Please text me, Dave M on 07908 128768 and I will confirm your place.

Approach Bethesda on the A5 from the Bangor direction. On entering the town you pass a car repair garage on the left and then a row of terraced houses. At the end of the block of houses you will see a brown sign indicating the left turn to the Leisure Centre. Take this turn (which is very sharp) and follow the road uphill about a quarter of a mile, and around a slight bend to the right. The Leisure Centre is then on the right. Note the arrows in the car park showing a one way circulation system, follow these and park at the far end of the car park.
