We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting from the parking area on Hinton Blewett village green opposite the Ring O’Bells Pub.
We will make our way out through the village to Prospect Stile and onwards following country lanes and crossing fields until we reach the two Litton Reservoirs. We will then make our way alongside the lakes until we reach a gateway out onto a lane which we will follow up to a cul de sac before making our way in to Chewton Wood. Once through the woodland it's across a field and some more woodland in to Hollow Marsh Nature Reserve. Once out of the Reserve it's uphill over fields before descending over several fields to return to Hinton Blewett.
Bring drinks and snacks as we will be having a 10 minute stop.
Walking sticks and sturdy hiking boots would be advantageous.
We can have a drink in the Ring O'Bells after the walk.
