Overview

Holies Hanging, Lardon Chase and Lough Down. An old favourite walk, across the Thames from Goring, then up into the hills west of Streatley, with spectacular views over the Goring Gap. 600 ft of ascent, most of it in a single hill. No stiles. Start is outside the Catherine Wheel PH in Goring, 3 minutes walk from Goring and Streatley station. If coming by car, park in Manor Road (RG8 9EB or SU599803) and walk the short distance to the pub.
