Overview

The walk starts up the Ellenglaze valley using a mixture of quiet paths, sand dunes and coast path. Then we head across Perran Common to a minor road before entering the large sand dune area behind Perranporth beach to St Piran's Church and Oratory.  Afterwards we head to the coast path and follow this towards Penhale Point and return to Holywell. Refreshments afterwards available at Holywell Beach Bar and Cafe.

Boots, food and drink. Sticks would be helpful in places especially on the coast path. Well behaved dogs on short leads because of nesting birds and adders reported. There are two stiles and lovely wildflowers and butterflies. Toilets in Holywell near the start of the walk.

Meet at the National Trust Car Park at Holywell Beach. NT members free, or £9 per day. Gets busy with holiday makers so car sharing would be advisable.
