The walk will start at Hope station after the arrival of the 09.36 from Manchester Piccadilly due at 10.23. The leader will join the train at Stockport.

Note: walkers are advised to check one of the rail websites such as nationalrail or trainline close to the departure time in case of late changes to the running of the train.

Train ticket - off peak return from Manchester to Hope (Derbyshire). If you have a TfGM concessionary pass you can get your ticket from Strines to Hope return. (We have been told both by ticket sales staff at Piccadilly and by a guard on the train that this is acceptable even though the train route as it is currently diverted does not pass through Strines.)

Car parking with a charge is available outside Hope station.
