We are the Southwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a moderate 10 mile walk starting from Nether Broughton Church, visiting the villages of Wartnaby, Grimston and Old Dalby. We will see the stocks in Grimston, and 13th century ironstone churches in Wartnaby and Nether Broughton.
Please contact the Leader to let them know that you are coming on the walk. Please leave your name, contact telephone number and email address. Please also state whether you intend going to the designated meeting place or directly to the start of the walk. This will help ensure that you are not left behind. This should not be regarded as "booking a place".
If you later find that you cannot come on the walk, please notify the Leader as soon as possible in order that the group is not waiting for you to arrive on the day.
There will be refreshment stops and a lunch-time break, so bring some food and drink.

Southwell Leisure Centre Long Stay car park, Nottingham Road (off A612), Southwell. It is recommended that you park in the lower part of the car park, as the upper part closes early on Sunday.
