Overview

This walk leaves Hosh and approaches the head of the Loch Turret Reservoir on tarmac. It then climbs the ridge beside the reservoir on hill paths. Weather permitting the summit provides excellent views of the neighbouring Munro and other hills. The walk then descends on hill paths before joining the River Lednock into Comrie.

Pick up points in Cumbernauld: 8:50am - Craiglinn Roundabout Bus Stop 8:55am - Condorrat Main Road Bus Stop. 9.00 am - Park at car park for Cumbernauld New Town Hall, Bron Way, Cumbernauld G67 2LP Then make your way to the bus stop on Bron Way (left out car park) (see map) **** Bus back at Cumbernauld approximately 6pm. ****
