Overview

A Pleasant circular walk through farmland, woods and lowland heath.  From the petty village of Hotham, we proceed down a quiet lane and farm tracks into woodland at Hotham Carrs. From the quaintly named Duck Nest Plantation, we reach two areas of open access health land, then on to Bunny Hill and South Cliffe Common. After a short steep climb at South Cliffe, the route arrives at the edge of Houghton Woods with wonderful views of the Wolds. Finally we will take the public bridleway which eventually leads back to Hotham.
