An opportunity to walk in the lovely Howardian Hills AONB. From Hovingham we’ll take a level, partly shaded path along the disused railway line to Slingsby with it’s derelict castle before taking a track up to Fryton Woods. A level walk on this wooded ridge is followed by a permissive path through forest before returning on the Ebor Way into Hovingham where the Bakery offers takeaway drinks & cakes by the beck.
