Meet at Portland Road Car Park (by The Green and behind the former Duke’s Head pub), Hythe. The start point is close to Red Lion Square which is served by frequent buses to/from Folkestone, Dymchurch etc.
Park either in the pay-to-park car park – or lots of free parking nearby on the A259 either side of the Royal Military Canal.
The walk is via Hythe Seafront, Saltwood Castle, Brockhill Park, Pedlinge Lympne Hill, West Hythe and then alongside the Royal Military Canal.
Please bring your own refreshments though, if time allows, we may stop at either Brockhill Park or West Hythe where drinks (and toilets) are available.
