Starting from the free car park at the rear of the Snape Maltings Concert Hall at Snape, Suffolk (IP17 1SP).

This walk follows the route of the Suffolk Coast path along board walks through reeds adjacent to the river Alde to meet Iken and St Botolphs church where we stop for a pack lunch.

We return to Snape via the Sandlings Walk through the coniferous woodland of the Tunstall Forest and Blaxhall Heath.

Refreshments are available at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall where the Riverside Cafe is open until 3pm.

Parking is freely available on the grass at the rear of the concert hall of Snape Maltings- (Follow signs through the maltings to the free car park).

Please bring suitable waterproof clothing and hiking boots as the footpaths can be wet especially walking close to the river Alde.

Public transport is limited to Snape, so please arrange car share from Cambridge.
