Overview

From the car park, we will walk up a short but steep incline to Lunnon, along a bridle path to Furzehill and on into Ilston where we will stop at Ilston Church.

After lunch, we will walk along the riverside, passing the remains of the 1st Baptist Church in Wales.

The walk will take between 2 and 3 hours.

Stiles: None

Toilets: Only at Gower Inn at end of walk

Terrain: It will be muddy in places and walking poles are recommended

 

Social after walk:

Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to the Gower Inn.

  • Follow A4118 (South Gower Road) westward
  • Descend into Parkmill Valley
  • As you reach the valley bottom, turn right into pub car park
  • Park towards rear of car park
