BOOKING REQUIRED - preferably by text. NO DOGS PLEASE.
A moderate/strenuous walk to climb the second highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales and see the fascinating limestone scenery. From the car park walk through the Ingleborough Estate, past Ingleborough Cave and up Trow Gill to Gaping Gill, one the largest underground chambers in the country (we won’t be going down it!). Ascend Ingleborough and return via the Dales Highway to Sulber and the Pennine Bridleway, then Crummock Lane past Ingleborough Hall back to the car park. Risk assessment: Some steep rocky sections in Trow Gill and a steep ascent to the summit. Some stiles and rough terrain.
