Overview

The walk starts from the  car park, where we will walk past the "Six Bells" Pub towards Friths Farm, then taking some of the Vanguard Way towards Grey Wood, where we bear right back into the Chiddingly boundary. We continue  though woodland, open fields and quiet lanes. After lunch we pick up  the Weald Way on our return to the car park.

Chiddingly is situated in the Low Weald, that offers gentle undulating countryside, woodlands and fields.  This a fairly flat walk with exception of one small hill, and there are also several stiles. The walk offers a peaceful experience with a mix of scenic landscapes , historical sites and facts.

At the time of reece there was some soft ground after the recent rain; boots and sticks recommended.
