Overview

We will head west along the ridge following the South Downs Way with lovely 360° views before descending the escarpment to the village of Edburton. The route then winds back to Poynings via fields and woodland before tackling the ascent of Devil’s Dyke .

There are 8 stiles, none of which are challenging and no mud as I write. The walk is shorter than usual but the last mile is worth two. Something for everyone. Enjoy.
