We are the High Weald Walkers Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk follows the South Downs Way eastwards then turns south towards Falmer with fine views of the Amex Stadium, skirting the University campus before arriving at One Garden at Stanmer for lunch. The return is a steady climb northwards back to the car park. There are no stiles, no serious mud but a few ups and downs.
The walk will start at 10.00am. Lunch is a picnic on the grass or at the café at One Garden if you prefer.

Parking is at the NT car park at the Beacon off Ditchling Road. Don't forget your cards. SatNav BN6 8XG gets you close'ish. Map ref TQ333130. Give yourself plenty of time as the car park can be busy but there is a regular turnover of vehicles.
