Overview

The walk follows a short stretch of Forest Way then NW to Chartners Farm, S via Upper Newtons Hill, through Posingford Wood then E along Wealdway to Friars Gate and High Weald Landscape Trail back to Hartfield. A mix of woodland, fields, tracks and some quiet roads. No steep hills and 7 stiles. Some soft ground in two places that could become muddy.

St Mary The Virgin CE Primary School Car Park. Signposted as Weekend Parking next to the traffic calming at the north end of the High Street. Available in school holidays as well but likely limited spaces. If full park in the high street between the school and the Bear Inn and meet in the car park. There may be road works and Road Closed signs but the High street remains accessible.
