Overview

The walk starts in Cade Street just outside Old Heathfield and takes in Vines Cross, Warbleton and Rushlake Green. There are lovely views across the High Weald to the Downs. This is an up and down walk along quiet country lanes, through leafy woodland and open country side, past Sussex ponds and over babbling brooks. There are 16 stiles.

Cade Street War Memorial, Old Heathfield Road. Parking Arrangements: Please park along Old Heathfield Road and then make your way to the Cade Street War Memorial, which is close to the Half Moon Inn. Please ignore the road closed sign at the top of Battle Road. Continue along Battle Road before turning right into School Hill past Heathfield Community College. At the T-Junction turn left into Old Heathfield Road.
